Pune (Special correspondent) - The acquisition at Kharadi Knowledge Park includes leasehold rights to an 8,581-square-metre land parcel, ownership of a 15-storey building and 200 parking spaces.
State Bank of India (SBI) has acquired leasehold rights to an 8,581-square-metre land parcel in Pune, along with outright ownership of a building standing on the land, for Rs 414 crore.
According to deal-related documents accessed via CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm, the property is located at Kharadi Knowledge Park in Kharadi, one of Pune’s prominent commercial and office hubs, which has emerged as a key business district in the city.
According to the document, the acquisition is intended to establish SBI’s Local Head Office (LHO) for its Maharashtra Circle. The bank had invited bids in April 2023 for the purchase of ready-built premises in Kharadi, Viman Nagar or Baner for this purpose.
