TN Guv, Stalin pay rich tributes to Dr Ambedkar
Chennai, Dec 6 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi and Chief Minister M K Stalin on Friday paid rich tributes to the Architect of Indian Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar on the occasion of his 69th Memorial Day.
The Governor paid floral triubutes to a portrait of Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar at Raj Bhavan and felicitated 10 eminent person various fields on the occasion.
Mr Stalin also paid rich tributes to Dr Ambedkar and said his legacy will forever guide us towards a fair and just society.
In a social media post, he said “Educate, Agitate, Organise”. Today, I pay my heartfelt respects to Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a visionary leader who emerged from within our midst to challenge the deep-rooted injustices that denied rights and dignity to many."
He demonstrated the transformative power of education and harnessed his wisdom to pave the way for equality and justice, Mr Stalin said.
Dr. Ambedkar remains a protector and warrior whose ideas continue to inspire us and safeguard our rights. His legacy will forever guide us towards a fair and just society, he added.
