Aditya Thackeray’s Name Is Not Mentioned in the FIR Filed by the CBI

 

Mumbai (Special correspondent) - The petition filed before the High Court has been incorporated into the FIR, and the CBI will now investigate the matter. The CBI will investigate whether the persons whose names were mentioned by Satish Salian in his statement actually have any role in the case.

 

In his statement, Satish Salian has alleged that Aditya Thackeray, Sooraj Pancholi, Dino Morea and others raped and murdered Disha. The CBI will clarify its further course of action only after finding concrete evidence against the persons named by Satish Salian.

The High Court has directed that a chargesheet in the case should be filed only after concrete evidence is found against the The development comes nearly two weeks after the Bombay High Court ordered the central agency to take over the probe in the case.

 

A case has been registered under sections pertaining to murder, gang rape, criminal conspiracy, destruction of evidence, and providing false information.

 

"The then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, father of Aaditya Thackeray, and others played a significant role in the conspiracy and subsequent cover-up. The concerned public servants and police officers are also liable to be investigated for destruction or suppression of case papers, files and other public records, fabrication of official records, and misuse of public funds, manpower and police machinery for unlawful purposes and for shielding the offenders," the CBI FIR states.
