Dr. Jaipal Patil Announces the New Maharashtra Executive Committee at Ahilyanagar Meeting
Ahilyanagar (Special Correspondent): Senior journalist Om Prakash Shinde of Jalna has been appointed as the Maharashtra State President of the Senior Journalists Federation of India (SJFOI), while Sanjay Joshi of Pune has been appointed as the State General Secretary.
The appointments were announced by Dr. Jaipal Patil, National Secretary of SJFOI, during the Maharashtra Executive Committee meeting held in Ahilyanagar.
He also declared the appointments of Adv. Gopal Shelke as State Vice President, Dr. Jaipal Patil as State Treasurer, and Adv. Omkar Mane and Adv. Sunil Rawade as Legal Advisors.
While addressing the meeting, Dr. Patil stated that the executive committee had received approval at the national level and was being formally announced under the directions of National President Sandeep Dixit and National Vice President and Maharashtra Observer Mrs. Suhasini Prabhugaonkar. He further informed members that the legal registration of the Federation's Maharashtra unit had been submitted to the Cooperative Registrar in Pune and that the registration process is expected to be completed officially in July. He also announced that the Maharashtra State Convention of SJFOI will be held in Pune on 25 and 26 November.
Newly appointed State President Om Prakash Shinde brings over 35 years of experience in journalism and has long-standing associations with numerous journalists' organizations and media professionals across Maharashtra. The newly appointed General Secretary Sanjay Joshi has 33 years of professional experience in journalism, public relations, newspaper management, advertising, and circulation. He has worked with several leading newspapers in Maharashtra and has built strong professional relationships with editors and journalists across all regions of the state, as well as in other parts of India. Right now in Digital media platform he is Founder - Editor of 2 News portel and YouTube chainal. The Federation expressed confidence that his experience and extensive network will help address the long-pending issues faced by senior Journalists, viz. Pension, health Insurance & housing problam, etc.
During the meeting, appointments for regional office-bearers were also announced:
* Western Maharashtra President: Bhagwanrao Parlikar
* Kolhapur District & Konkan Region President: Raja Makote
* North Maharashtra President: Yadavrao Pawashe
* Marathwada Region President: Makarand Jahagirdar
* Raigad District President: Senior Journalist Pradeep Patil (Uran)
* Raigad General Secretary: Senior Journalist Shrikant Sahasrabuddhe (Mahad)
* Raigad Vice President: Mrs. Bharati Shah (Khopoli)
Among those present at the executive committee meeting were senior journalists Ankushrao Deshmukh, Ayesha Sheikh Mulani, Balaji Adiyal, Abhay Kumar Yadav, and Mrs. Bharati Shah.
