Maha: 98th Marathi Sahitya Sammelan to be held in Delhi next year
Pune, Dec 2 (UNI) The 98th All India Marathi Literary Conference of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Mahamandal will be held in Delhi in February next year, where NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar will be the welcome president.
Organised by Sarhad Sanstha, the three-day event will be held in Delhi on February 21, 22 and 23, 2025.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Sanjay Nahar, the founder-president of Sarhad who is organiser of the conference, said that in the backdrop of the Marathi language having got the status of the classical language, this conference will be held in Delhi after 70 years.
As a part of it, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, MNS president Raj Thackeray, senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari have been invited for various programmes by the organisation, he added.
